We bring Designer Fashion and Art together at our store and online. Our retail store is at 43 Grand Avenue...Oakland...CA  in the artsy, vibrant "Uptown" neighborhood. Visit us at our beautiful store or here online to shop for some of the most unusual plus size clothing and accessories anywhere.  We have everything from casual to work wear to special outfits to wear to a wedding or graduation this season.  We're open Monday - Friday 11-6 Saturday 10-5 Come visit us!	We are Terry and John Kiskaddon, the owners of Harper Greer. Partners in life and business for over 30 years! We have an ever consuming passion  to dress plus women in our beautiful collection.  John is a jazz pianist and Terry is a fabulous cook and entertainer.
This is our store. It's a very boutiquey store with pretty details and comfortable furnishings.  We're on a charming shopping street with a plethora of fabulous restaurants.	Meet our "girls". These are our mannequins, muses and  models for photo shoots.
We have events and parties every month at our store. We hosted an "Afternoon Tea and Styling Workshop" with Joanne Mullin complete with scones and tea sandwiches. Joanne gave advice about how to restyle yourself with a few new items added to your wardrobe, the right accessories and a confidence that will change your life. She had a couple of customers and friends do a "What Not to Wear" segment that was truly eye opening. We also have a gallery show every couple of months. We invite local artists to hang a show with their work and have a reception for them...actually a great party for customers and friends! Sign up for our newsletters and you'll be on the list. I have been shopping at Harper Greer for more than 12 years and love their clothes. Their fabrics are wonderful and unique, John is wonderful to work with and very helpful with suggestions.  The service at HG is top-notch in every way!  Since I live on the east coast and generally get to San Francisco only once a year, HG has made it so easy to order on line since they know what I've bought before, which size fits for each type of garment and they will even send fabric swatches.

I no longer live in the Bay Area but from the opposite coast of the country.
 I now I buy by web and phone quite regularly.  I still do shop at other stores, like Macy's, and there I find things I can wear for a season before they stretch out, unravel or otherwise become raggedy looking.  My Harper Greer clothes, on the other hand, last for years.  Call me a loyal customer.

I am from Michigan. I found Harper Greer about 20 years ago when I was in San Francisco.  I still wear a beautiful blouse I got on that trip.  I love their clothes.  They are beautiful and very well made.  Back before everyone had computers if I needed something I would call the store, tell them what I needed and they would send me outfits to try.  I would pick the best and send them back the rest .  Now I can go on line and see the new arrivals and buy what I love. Harper Greer is my favorite store.
